To use the Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier, you simply mix the powder with water. For the best results and to ensure the scientifically balanced formula hydrates you effectively, follow these steps:
🥣 How to Mix It
1. Measure your water: Pour 16 ounces (approx. 500 ml) of cold or ambient still water into a glass or water bottle.
2. Add the powder: Rip open 1 single-serve packet (stick) and pour the entire contents into the water.
3. Mix thoroughly: Stir or shake the mixture well until the powder completely dissolves.
Note: The manufacturer recommends using plain, still water rather than juice or other beverages, as adding extra sugar can disrupt the hydration formula.
🕒 When to Use It
Liquid I.V. is designed to provide rapid hydration using an optimized ratio of sodium, glucose, and potassium. It is most beneficial when you are experiencing active fluid loss or need an extra hydration boost, such as:
• During or after intense workouts or heavy sweating.
• Spending prolonged time outdoors in the heat.
• While traveling or flying.
• When recovering from a night of drinking or illnesses involving fluid loss.
💡 Tips for Best Use
• Daily Limit: The official guidance recommends sticking to 1 packet per day for daily hydration health.
• Storage: If you don't drink it all right away, you can keep the mixture refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
• Adjusting Sweetness: If you find the flavor too sweet, you can add a few extra ounces of water without significantly altering its efficacy, though keeping close to the 16 oz ratio is best for standard medical-grade transport functionality.
